Sheary (lower body) won't play Wednesday versus the Canadiens, Mike Vogel of the Capitals' official site reports.
Sheary will miss a second contest with the injury after he was a late scratch Sunday versus the Kraken. The 29-year-old's absence will be covered by Michael Sgarbossa and Beck Malenstyn, who were both recalled from AHL Hershey. Sheary's next chance to play is Friday versus the Panthers.
