Christian Jaros: Contract terminated

Jaros was placed on unconditional waivers for the purpose of terminating his contract Wednesday.

Jaros has only appeared in 11 games with the Devils this season, going scoreless over that span, so he may have requested to have his contract terminated to pursue an opportunity with a different NHL organization or perhaps even overseas.
