Devils' Jesper Boqvist: Lands on IR

Boqvist (upper body) was placed on injured reserve retroactive to Nov. 18 on Thursday, Mike Morreale of NHL.com reports.

Boqvist was placed on IR to make room for Nathan Bastian, whom the Devils claimed off waivers Thursday, on New Jersey's roster. Since his placement on IR was made retroactive to Nov. 18, Boqvist will be eligible to return whenever he's deemed fit to play. Boqvist has picked up one helper through five games this campaign.
