Bowers was put on waivers Saturday for the purpose of assignment to AHL Utica.
Bowers compiled eight goals and 21 points over 57 AHL games between Colorado and Providence last season. If he clears, the 24-year-old forward could spend most of the 2023-24 campaign in the minors again.
