Carrick was sent down to AHL San Diego on Saturday.
Carrick received a cup of coffee with the Ducks at the end of the season, but he didn't record an appearance while on the big club's roster. He'll serve as reinforcements for the Gulls' AHL playoff run now that the Ducks' season is over.
