Bishop was placed on waivers Monday, Chris Johnston of TSN reports.
Bishop notched 11 goals and 12 assists in 64 games with AHL Calgary last season. If he clears, Bishop could spend most of the year with the Wranglers again. The 27-year-old forward has one goal and eight points in 47 career NHL contests.
