Provorov notched a shorthanded assist and blocked three shots in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Devils.
Provorov set up Scott Laughton's goal at 17:03 of the third period. In his last eight games, Provorov has two goals and four assists while playing in all situations. It appears he's put a slow start to the campaign behind him, though the blueliner is still at just eight points in 20 contests overall. He's added 37 shots on net, 50 blocks, 14 PIM and a minus-1 rating.
