Flyers' Samuel Morin: Timeline clarified

Morin is expected to be on the shelf for 6-8 weeks after undergoing knee surgery Sept. 10, the team announced Tuesday.

At a minimum, Morin will be unavailable until early November due to his knee problem. The Quebec native has shifted between forward and defense in recent years but may be hard-pressed to crack the lineup at either position even once given the green light to play.
