Golden Knights' Akira Schmid: Sent to minors

Schmid was moved to AHL Henderson on Wednesday, according to Danny Webster of the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Schmid had a 3.06 GAA and an .894 save percentage in 23 outings with AHL Utica in 2023-24. He also posted a 3.15 GAA and an .895 save percentage across 19 appearances with New Jersey. Schmid could be summoned to Vegas if Adin Hill or Ilya Samsonov get hurt at any point during the 2024-25 campaign.
