When asked about Stone's (lower body) status, coach Pete DeBoer said "the finish line is still a ways out," Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports.
Stone practiced with his teammates for the first time since suffering his lower-body injury Tuesday, so he's clearly inching closer to a return, but DeBoer wasn't willing to commit to a specific timetable for the 29-year-old winger. Once given the green light, Stone will undoubtedly return to a top-six role and a spot on Vegas' No. 1 power-play unit.
