Islanders' Julien Gauthier: Lands on waivers

Gauthier was moved to the waiver wire Sunday, according to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet.

Gauthier was held off the scoresheet in his season debut versus Montreal on Saturday, recording two hits in 7:42 of ice time. The 27-year-old forward could play for AHL Bridgeport if he doesn't get claimed by another team from waivers.
