Jordie Benn: Announces retirement

Benn announced his retirement from professional hockey Tuesday, per RDS.ca.

Benn compiled 26 goals and 137 points in 607 regular-season appearances with Dallas, Montreal, Vancouver, Winnipeg, Minnesota and Toronto during his NHL career. The 37-year-old blueliner spent the 2023-24 campaign with Brynas IF of Sweden's HockeyAllsvenskan, earning three goals and 19 assists in 39 regular-season appearances before adding seven points in 13 playoff contests.
