Kings' Akil Thomas: Rises to active roster

Thomas was recalled from AHL Ontario to the taxi squad Saturday, Jon Rosen of Fox Sports West reports.

Thomas has put up 13 points over 23 AHL games this season. He can practice and travel with the team while on the taxi squad, but he'll need to be promoted to the active roster before making his NHL debut.
