Kings' Alex Turcotte: Placed on injured reserve

Turcotte (upper body) was placed on injured reserve Saturday.

Turcotte has missed the last two contests and will sit out Saturday's home game versus Columbus. The 23-year-old is getting his first extended time in the NHL and had a goal and five points in 13 games before the injury. Samuel Helenius was recalled from AHL Ontario to take Turcotte's spot on the roster.
