Lightning's Rudolfs Balcers: Sent down for conditioning

Balcers (upper body) was assigned to AHL Syracuse for conditioning Sunday.

Balcers has missed the last 21 games after suffering an injury against the Blues on Nov. 25. The 25-year-old will see some game action at the AHL level before returning to Tampa Bay's lineup.
