Vesey was waived by Toronto on Tuesday, Sportsnet's Chris Johnston reports.
Vesey has appeared in all 30 of the Maple Leafs' games this season, so it wouldn't be surprising to see him remain on the active roster if he passes through waivers unclaimed. He's picked up five goals and seven points this year.
