Oilers' Adam Cracknell: Designated for waivers

Cracknell was placed on waivers for the purpose of assignment to AHL Bakersfield on Saturday.

The 35-year-old Cracknell signed a two-way contract with the Oilers in September. He'll serve as experienced veteran depth and could feature on the taxi squad later in the season, but there's not likely to be much room for him in the bottom six.
