Sharks' Jeff Skinner: Surfaces on IR

Skinner (lower body) was placed on injured reserve Saturday, Max Miller of NHL.com reports.

The Sharks recalled Zack Ostapchuk from AHL San Jose in a corresponding move. Skinner will miss at least the next three games, starting with Saturday's matchup against Seattle, after getting injured in Thursday's 2-0 loss to Calgary. He has collected four goals, seven points and 29 shots on net through 17 appearances this campaign.
