Haight was loaned to AHL Iowa on Tuesday.
In a corresponding move, Minnesota activated Nico Sturm (concussion) from injured reserve. Haight was a healthy scratch in Sunday's 2-1 win over Columbus after being summoned from the minors. He has notched three goals and five points in six AHL appearances this season.
