Petan was put on waivers by Minnesota on Wednesday, Michael Russo of The Athletic reports.
Petan had a goal and three points in 10 contests with Minnesota last season. He also recorded 23 goals and 62 points in 53 AHL outings with Iowa. Petan is likely to start the 2023-24 campaign in Iowa.
