Ryan Nugent-Hopkins C | EDM
Oilers' Ryan Nugent-Hopkins: Opens scoring on power play
Nugent-Hopkins scored a power-play goal, dished out an assist, put three shots on goal and had two hits in Thursday's 3-1 win over Boston.
Nugent-Hopkins put the Oilers on the board with his power-play goal at 13:38 of the first period. With the twine finder, he is up to eight goals, 27 points and 41 shots on net through 26 games this season. The 32-year-old forward has three multi-point efforts over his last 10 games, which have helped him get on track to surpass his offensive output from a season ago. If he can stay healthy, Nugent-Hopkins should continue to add to Edmonton's strong top line and first power-play unit, giving him a chance to reach the 60-point mark for the fifth time in his 15-year career. He has good value in most point-based fantasy formats.

Joel Eriksson Ek C | MIN
Wild's Joel Eriksson Ek: Two points including GWG
Eriksson Ek scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in Thursday's 5-2 victory over Columbus.
The 28-year-old center jammed home a rebound midway through the third period to break open a 2-2 tie. Eriksson Ek extended his point streak to six games in the process, a stretch in which he's collected four goals and 10 points with a stunning plus-10 rating -- a far cry from his prior seven contests, when he managed only one assist with a minus-1 rating.

Sergei Bobrovsky G | FLA
Panthers' Sergei Bobrovsky: Between pipes Friday
Bobrovsky will patrol the home crease versus Carolina on Friday, per George Richards of Florida Hockey Now.
Bobrovsky has won four straight games, though his save percentage has been spotty, allowing 11 goals on 104 shots (.894 save percentage). The 37-year-old netminder is 14-8-1 with three shutouts, a 2.80 GAA and an .888 save percentage across 23 appearances this season. The Hurricanes are fifth in NHL scoring, generating 3.27 goals per game.

Matt Boldy LW | MIN
Wild's Matt Boldy: Three points in Thursday's win
Boldy produced a goal and two assists in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Blue Jackets.
All three points came in the third period as the Wild put the game away. Boldy has found the back of the net in three straight contests and has gotten onto the scoresheet in six of the last seven, delivering five goals and 12 points over that sizzling stretch.

Kirill Kaprizov LW | MIN
Wild's Kirill Kaprizov: Three-point effort in Columbus
Kaprizov scored a goal and added two assists, one on the power play, in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Blue Jackets.
The 28-year-old winger found Ryan Hartman for an easy tap-in goal to get Minnesota on the board midway through the second period, before Kaprizov and Matt Boldy set up each other's empty-netters late in the third. It was Kaprizov's second three-point performance in the last three games, and he has yet to go more than two games in a row without getting onto the scoresheet this season, racking up 22 goals -- third in the NHL behind Nathan MacKinnon and Morgan Geekie -- and 41 points in 35 games.

Jesper Wallstedt G | MIN
Wild's Jesper Wallstedt: Secures 10th win
Wallstedt made 27 saves in Thursday's 5-2 win over the Blue Jackets.
The game was tight through two periods, but the Wild blew things open in the third while Wallstedt turned aside all 10 shots he saw in the final frame. The 23-year-old netminder continues to dazzle, posting a 10-1-2 record through 13 starts this season with a 1.96 GAA and .936 save percentage, but those numbers have only been good enough to earn him a timeshare alongside Filip Gustavsson, who's also been locked in (7-1-2 over his last 10 starts with a 1.67 GAA and .935 save percentage).

Tyler Seguin C | DAL
Stars' Tyler Seguin: Not yet ruled out for season
Seguin (knee) will have his return timetable evaluated following the Olympic break after undergoing successful surgery Tuesday.
Seguin was initially expected to miss the remainder of the regular season after undergoing surgery to repair a torn ACL on Tuesday. While it still seems likely that he'll miss most, or all, of the regular season, the Stars aren't yet ready to make that determination and plan to check in on his progress in late February. Despite not being officially ruled out for the rest of the year, fantasy managers shouldn't count on meaningful late-season production from Seguin.

Dennis Gilbert D | OTT
Senators' Dennis Gilbert: Reassigned to AHL
Gilbert was loaned to AHL Belleville on Friday.
Gilbert was recalled Nov. 29 when Thomas Chabot went on injured reserve with an upper-body injury. Chabot is likely to return to action this weekend, making Gilbert redundant at this time. Gilbert played only once during his nine-game recall, going minus-1 with one blocked shot in 13:50 of action.

Luca Del Bel Belluz C | CLB
Blue Jackets' Luca Del Bel Belluz: Recalled on emergency basis
Del Bel Belluz was called up from AHL Cleveland on Friday, according to Jeff Svoboda of the Blue Jackets' official site.
The Blue Jackets are down a forward, as Brendan Gaunce (personal) left the team Thursday due to his wife expecting a baby. The 22-year-old Del Bel Belluz has played 11 games at the NHL level this season, picking up one assist. He had five goals and eight assists in 14 AHL games before his recall. Del Bel Belluz could join the lineup in Anaheim on Saturday if Gaunce is unable to return in time.
