Bubba Watson played some hoops on Friday night at the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game with Paul Pierce, Jamie Foxx, Common and Tracy McGrady. Watson scored 2 points but not on this drive with Tracy McGrady near him. T-Mac swatted Watson's shot out of bounds after Watson apparently went against his wife Angie's advice (which he should have taken, considering she's a former WNBA player).

The outing apparently did not affect Watson's golf game, though. He shot a 6-under 65 on Saturday to lead the Genesis Open by one stroke into the final round on Sunday.

"She told me to stay out of the paint," Watson told Amanda Balionis of CBS Sports of his wife Angie's advice. "Tracy McGrady, he's a lot bigger in person. I was going to drive, when I saw him all I saw was that split-second of, 'this is my injury, this big man is about to take me out.'

"It's kind of like when you have water on the right, so where do you hit it? You hit it way way left. That's what I did. I was like, 'oh my gosh just get out of his way, this tank is about to hit me.' And so I panicked."

As for what kind of attitude he's taking into Sunday, Watson said he'll leave it all on the course and let the chips fall where they may.

"You have to know that this golf course is going to make you mess up," said Watson on Saturday. "It's golf. That's not just this week, it's every week. You have to keep fighting, and hopefully your fight is better than everybody else's fight."
