Happy 39th birthday, Tiger Woods
Tiger Woods is 39 and historically that's not a good sign if you want to see him reach 18 majors (or even 17.

Happy Birthday, Tiger Woods. The Big Cat turned 39 on Tuesday, and as usual, this is always a good time of the year to reflect and look ahead when it comes to Woods.
The good: He's finally healthy (probably). And man, that swing looked delicious at the Hero World Challenge. In his last three fully healthy seasons, Woods has 14 wins in 52 starts, so it's reasonable to think that, if his body complies, we're in for another big one from Woods.
The bad: Why would we think his body will comply? It hasn't in forever, and he's edging ever closer to the big four-oh which, last time I checked, was the wrong mile marker for maintaining high quality health.
Also, this is not good:

Woods will always fascinate, always. But with the rise of another potential historic figure (that kid from Northern Ireland) and the bloodbath that is any tournament of any significance these days, his odds of being a factor continue to plummet.
All that means is he'll probably win nine times including two majors.
