Alabama senior one of three players to score 1,400 in a season twice.

Already the No. 5 all-time leading scorer in high school boys basketball history, Tommy Murr of Lindsay Lane Christian Academy (Athens, Ala.) joined an even more exclusive group last week.


In going over 1,400 points on the season, Murr became the third player in boys basketball history to score over 1,400 points in a season twice during their high school career.

He scored an Alabama state record 1,442 points last season, and broke his own record Tuesday when he upped his 2020 season total to 1,450. ...
