A day after incident, Adam Jones has more to say about racism he faced at Fenway
Jones talked with the press prior to Tuesday's game in Boston
Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones was subjected to poor treatment from the Fenway Park crowd Monday. In addition to having a bag of peanuts thrown his way, Jones also heard racial slurs. The Boston Red Sox have since apologized, while other players have confirmed that Boston's crowds are prone to these ugly scenes.
Jones took time before Tuesday's game against the Red Sox to talk about what happened:
Jones: "Boo me, tell me I suck ... just leave the racial stuff out of it." #orioles
