Astros pitcher Collin McHugh was the hard-luck loser Wednesday, giving up just two earned runs on four hits and two walks in seven innings while striking out seven in his team's 2-1 loss to the Angels.

McHugh (2-3) gave up a home run for the third straight start Wednesday, and it was the difference-maker, as Albert Pujols' solo shot in the sixth inning gave the Angels the lead for good. McHugh owns a 3.32 ERA and 41:12 K:BB ratio in 38 innings. He's scheduled to face the Royals Monday.
