As you might have noticed during Game 1 of the World Series on Tuesday night, a random Marlins fan was sitting in a bright orange jersey right behind home plate. Here he is:

The same fan was in Kansas City for the ALCS last week:

He was also at the World Series two years ago:

How random is that? A Marlins fans sitting in primo seats during the postseason? I can't say I expected to see a fan in a bright orange Marlins jersey sitting behind the plate at the World Series when I turned on the game Tuesday night.

As it turns out, Marlins Man has a Twitter account -- @Marlins_Man, appropriately enough -- and he isn't limited to baseball games. He shows up all over the place in his Marlins garb. Here are some examples:

Marlins Man's real name is Laurence Leavy, and two years ago Amy K. Nelson of SBNation spoke to him about the whole "wearing a bright orange Marlins jersey everywhere" thing. Here's what she learned:

"I'm a (Marlins) season ticket holder," he says. "I was in New York for the Yankees games [for the ALCS] I was all over. I just love baseball. I wear the same thing, everywhere I go."

Leavy got the tickets through StubHub, but then also adds that the Marlins helped him out. He owns a law firm that specializes in worker's compensation cases, and is a Miami resident. He has seats right behind home plate at the new Marlins ballpark, and said he's had season tickets since the organization's inception.

"I'm one of the very, very few left," he says. "There were only 1,000 season ticket holders in the first year."

Leavy's Marlins fandom extends beyond wearing a jersey all around town too. Check this out:

I think this is great. Who wouldn't travel all over the place and sit in great seats at sporting events if they had the chance? I know I would. Leavy has managed to #brand that lifestyle by wearing a Marlins jersey everywhere. That's awesome.

Also, this is important:

Noted. The Marlins are lucky to have a fan like Mr. Leavy.
