The Marlins placed pitcher Henderson Alvarez (shoulder), infielder Don Kelly (finger) and catcher Jeff Mathis (finger) on the 15-day disabled list Monday.

Alvarez went for an MRI Monday after dealing with arm troubles in Sunday's start, and he's been listed as suffering from shoulder inflammation. Both Kelly and Mathis broke ring fingers in Sunday's game.

The Marlins also transferred pitcher Aaron Crow (elbow) to the 60-day disabled list, clearing a 40-man roster spot for Reid Brignac, who joins Carter Capps and J.T. Realmuto as the Marlins' active-roster additions Monday.
