Rangers pitcher Derek Holland threw one scoreless inning Saturday in his return from a shoulder injury. It was his first appearance of the spring and Holland wishes he could have thrown more, reports MLB.com.

"I felt great," Holland said. "Personally, I would have loved to have stayed out there longer, but I have to do what they say."

Holland is planning on being ready for the start of the season.

"There's enough time to get me ready," Holland said. "Today I showed I'm good to go. Overall I was very happy. I was able to use all my pitches."
