Red Sox's Farrell: Hanley to take BP on Sat., DL stint less likely

Red Sox left fielder Hanley Ramirez (shoulder) will take batting practice Saturday, manager John Farrell said Friday, per MassLive.com. Farrell added Ramirez being able to take batting practice means it is less likely he will need to be placed on the disabled list.

Ramirez was out a third straight game Friday against the Blue Jays after injuring his shoulder Monday against the Rays. He is batting .327 with six home runs and 13 RBI in his last 15 games.
