The Mets have won the NL East and will be squaring off with --barring a LA collapse -- the Dodgers in the NLDS round beginning late next week. Memo to the Dodgers: Don't test Yoenis Cespedes' arm, even when it seems unlikely he can get the out.

Let's let Cody Asche of the Phillies illustrate as much.

A still photo of someone's face when witnessing first-hand the power of Cespedes' right arm:

I'm no body language expert, but that felt like a "wow." (Or, "Hey, I think we should review this because I might be safe," but that's not as fun a narrative.)

The throw's degree of difficulty was on par with how aesthetically pleasing it was. Cespedes was running in the opposite direction of the way he needed to throw and then had to quickly plant and throw across his body, and he still nailed Asche with a strike.

Six players in baseball have more outfield assists this season than Cespedes' 12, and the number could be even higher, but teams rarely test Cespedes. He led the majors with 16 outfield assists last year as part of developing a league-wide reputation of a guy who should never be tested.

Remember these?

Again, Dodgers, you probably don't want to run on this guy next week.
