Royals left fielder Paulo Orlando went 2 for 5 at the plate Sunday in Kansas City's 9-2 win over the Angels. Orlando tripled to center in the sixth inning and was brought in on an Alcides Escobar sacrifice fly.
Orlando then tripled again in the seventh and scored on an Omar Infante double. He is the first player in major league history to have the first three hits of his career go for triples. He is now hitting .375 in his first eight at-bats this season.
