Astros ace Scott Feldman took a step forward Thursday in his recovery from biceps tendinitis by playing catch for the first time since being placed on the disabled list Monday.
"I felt fine," Feldman told the Houston Chronicle following the session. "We're right on track here. Hopefully I can just keep feeling good."
Feldman (2-1) was off to a tremendous start before going down. He had given up just five earned runs - including four in his last start - and 16 hits in 26 2/3 innings.
