Marlins closer Steve Cishek stepped into a difficult situation Thursday, but was able to work his way out of the jam in a multi-inning save in a 5-4 win over the Braves.

Cishek entered the game with runners on first and third and a one-run lead in the eighth inning, and didn't make things much easier for himself by walking the first batter he faced. Fortunately, he only needed to retire one batter to get out of the jam, as he set Ramiro Pena down on strikes to finish the inning.

Cishek worked a quick ninth inning to pin down the save, retiring the Braves in order on just eight pitches. He now has a 1.80 ERA in 10 innings on the season, with six saves in seven appearances.
