Astros outfielder George Springer has been on a tear lately, but there are still a few things he needs to do in order to maintain his success in the majors.
Strikeouts have been a significant issue for the young outfielder in the minors, and those issues have translated to the majors. Springer's 30.6 percent strikeout rate is nearly identical to Chris Carter's rate. Even Adam Dunn is striking out less than Springer thus far. While Springer deserves credit for making adjustments, the league will catch on to his whiffing ways soon. He'll have to show the ability to cut down on his strikeouts if he wants to continue his current level of production.
