Troy Tulowitzki takes batting practice Wednesday

Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki took batting practice before Wednesday's game, the Denver Post reports.

It's Tulowitzki's first workout since going on the disabled list with a hip flexor injury in mid-July. He was eyeing a potential return in mid-August, and he may be able to head out on a rehab assignment soon.
