The Guardians promoted Tolentino from Low-A Lynchburg to High-A Lake County on Monday.
The 20-year-old outfielder will climb a rung on the minor-league ladder after slashing .333/.434/.423 with eight stolen bases while maintaining a 21.5 percent strikeout rate over 205 plate appearances at Lynchburg.
