Marlins' Eury Perez: Lasts four innings Monday
Perez did not factor into the decision Monday, allowing four runs (three earned) on seven hits and two walks over four innings against Atlanta. He struck out two.
Perez failed to qualify for the win, as the right-hander was pulled after four innings on just 76 pitches. After averaging six strikeouts in his first three starts of the season, the 22-year-old managed only two punchouts in Monday's outing. Through four appearances in 2026, Perez owns a 5.40 ERA and 1.55 WHIP with a 20:11 K:BB across 20 innings and is slated to face Milwaukee in his next start Sunday.

Marlins' Eury Perez: Earns first win of season
Perez (1-1) earned the win Wednesday against the Reds after allowing four runs (two earned) on six hits and two walks across five innings. He struck out six and also hit a batter.
Even though Perez finished just three outs away from recording a quality start, this was still a solid showing for the right-hander -- and more importantly, it was a bounce-back effort compared to his previous start. However, Perez has yet to pitch more than five innings after doing so in his first turn of the season against the Pirates. Through three starts, Perez has a 5.06 ERA with a 1.38 WHIP and a 18:9 K:BB across 16 frames. His next start is scheduled for next week on the road against Atlanta.

Marlins' Eury Perez: Can't find plate in Friday's loss
Perez (0-1) took the loss Friday, giving up four runs on two hits and six walks over four innings as the Marlins were downed 8-2 by the Yankees. He struck out four.
The 22-year-old right-hander's command within the strike zone was just as bad as his control, as both hits he allowed went for extra bases, including an Aaron Judge two-run homer in the first inning. Perez has had a bumpy start to the season, posting a 5.73 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 12:7 K:BB through 11 innings over two outings. He'll try to turn things around in his next trip to the mound, which lines up to come at home next week against the Reds.

Marlins' Eury Perez: Goes seven strong in season debut
Perez did not factor into the decision in Saturday's 4-3 win over the Rockies, allowing three runs on five hits and one walk with eight strikeouts over seven innings.
Perez surrendered two home runs but was otherwise effective, throwing 59 of 93 pitches for strikes and generating 17 whiffs. According to Christina De Nicola of MLB.com, it marked just the third time in 40 career outings that the 22-year-old reached the seventh frame. The breakout candidate posted a 4.25 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 105:32 K:BB across 95.1 innings last season and flashed his upside Saturday. He'll face a tougher test on the road against the Yankees next weekend.

Marlins' Eury Perez: Tops 80 pitches Friday
Perez gave up two runs on four hits and a walk over five innings in Friday's Grapefruit League game against the Astros. He struck out five.
In what was likely to be his final spring outing, Perez fired 52 of 81 pitches for strikes. The 22-year-old right-hander has a 5.52 ERA over 14.2 Grapefruit League innings thanks to a few untimely long balls, but Perez's 20:7 K:BB offers a more accurate glimpse at his upside. He's expected to take the mound March 28 at home against the Rockies.

Marlins' Eury Perez: Fires four no-hit innings Sunday
Perez walked one and struck out five over four scoreless, no-hit innings during Sunday's Grapefruit League game against the Astros.
The 22-year-old right-hander's strikeout victims included Jose Altuve and prospect Zach Cole (twice) as Perez built up to 53 pitches, 30 of which went for strikes. Through 9.2 spring innings, he's posted a 15:6 K:BB, and Perez could be poised for a breakout campaign after he tossed a career-high 118 innings across three levels in 2025, delivering a 4.25 ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 105:32 K:BB in 95.1 frames for the Marlins across 20 starts.
