Rotowire
Machado (hamstring) has appeared in two games for Low-A Dunedin this season, going 3-for-7 with three walks, two runs and an RBI.
Machado was sidelined for the final two months of the 2021 campaign due to a hamstring strain, but he's healthy again for the start of the 2022 season. The 19-year-old infielder will get his first taste of full-season ball after he made his professional debut in 2021 in the rookie-level Florida Complex League.
