  • Brewers' Weston Wilson: Undergoes season-ending surgery

    Wilson was recently placed on the 60-day injured list by Triple-A Nashville and underwent surgery Tuesday to address thoracic outlet syndrome, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. Wilson has been sidelined since early August and will now miss the rest of the season after undergoing the procedure. The 26-year-old enjoyed a strong season at Triple-A with a .267/.354/.548 slash line and 16 homers in 70 games. The surgery typically carries a lengthy recovery, so he may not be ready for spring training or the start of the 2022 campaign.
