  On Fangraphs, Steamer 2024 projections has #Braves’ Ronald Acuña Jr. hitting .318 w/ 38 HRs, 56 steals, .577 slugging and an MLB-leading 7.4 WAR. Next-highest projected WAR: 6.6 for Juan Soto, with Aaron Judge (6.4) the only other hitter over 6.0.

  Interesting pick by #Braves in minor league phase of Rule 5 Draft: Soon-to-be 28-yo LH Tyler Thomas from Mets’ Double-A roster. In 2023, had 2.86 ERA in 24 appearances in AA & AAA, w/ 41 Ks, 13 BB in 34.2 IP; also had 0.90 ERA in 15 indy-league appearances w/ 34 K, 6 BB in 20 IP.
