Jensen cleared waivers and was outrighted to Triple-A St. Paul by the Twins on Tuesday, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports. Jensen is no longer on the Twins' 40-man roster, but he'll remain with the organization and will be in major-league camp this spring. The 26-year-old split the 2023 season between the Double- and Triple-A levels, posting a 5.32 ERA and 78:54 K:BB over 64.1 frames.... See More ... See Less

Twins' Ryan Jensen: DFA'd by Minnesota
Jenson was designated for assignment by the Twins on Friday. The right-hander was claimed off waivers by the Twins in early January but only stuck on the 40-man roster for a month. Jensen made 43 appearances between the Double-A and Triple-A levels last season and had a 5.32 ERA, 1.82 WHIP and 78:54 K:BB over 64.1 innings.... See More ... See Less -
Twins' Ryan Jensen: Nabbed by Twins on waivers
The Twins claimed Jensen off waivers from the Marlins on Thursday, Bobby Nightengale of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports. A first-round pick in the 2019 Draft, Jensen made a full-time move to relief in the minors last season, striking out 55 over 44 innings out of the bullpen but also walking 37 while posting a 5.32 ERA. He has a big arm, so the Twins felt he was worth a roll of the dice in hopes that he'll be able to find the strike zone more consistently.... See More ... See Less -
Marlins' Ryan Jensen: Pushed off 40-man roster
Jensen was designated for assignment by the Marlins on Wednesday, Christina De Nicola of MLB.com reports. This move clears out a 40-man roster spot for Roddery Munoz, who was acquired Wednesday from the Pirates. Jensen, 26, registered an underwhelming 5.06 ERA and 38:32 K:BB over 32 innings last season at Triple-A.... See More ... See Less -
Mariners' Ryan Jensen: Dropped from 40-man roster
Jensen was designated for assignment by the Mariners on Wednesday. Seattle had to free up a 40-man roster spot after acquiring both Seby Zavala and Carlos Vargas from the Diamondbacks on Wednesday in exchange for Eugenio Suarez. Jensen, 25, struggled to a 5.32 ERA and 1.82 WHIP in 64.1 innings of work this past year between Double-A and Triple-A. He's yet to appear in a major-league game.... See More ... See Less -
Mariners' Ryan Jensen: Claimed by Seattle
Seattle claimed Jensen off waivers from the Cubs on Tuesday and optioned him to Triple-A Tacoma. The 25-year-old right-hander was a first-round pick in the 2019 First-Year Player Draft out of Cal State, but he's yet to appear in a major-league game and holds an underwhelming 4.49 ERA and 1.42 WHIP in 204.1 career minor-league innings.... Cubs' Ryan Jensen: Optioned to Double-A
Jensen was optioned to Double-A Tennessee on Friday. Jensen spent all of last season with Double-A Tennessee, logging a 4.25 ERA and 1.39 WHIP through 59.1 innings. If the 25-year-old righty can manage to improve upon his numbers from last season, there's a chance he cracks the Triple-A level at some point in 2023.... See More ... See Less

LaVelle E. Neal III@LaVelleNeal11D agoDriving downtown to cover Game 4. Listening to Twins game. Santana steps into the box and Molitor says, "This is a good spot for Santana. He has experience in these situations." Santana homers. Molitor says. "He should stare down Manoah as he crosses home plate." Awesome sauce

Phil Miller@MillerStrib12D agoWith home runs so far today by Carlos Santana and Ryan Jeffers, the Twins have homered in 19 consecutive games (10 of them more than 1 HR) at Rogers Centre, a streak dating back to Aug. 2017. Only a 21-game streak at Kauffman Stadium from 1998-2001 was longer in Twins history.
