The Red Sox promoted Koss to Triple-A Worcester on Tuesday, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports. Koss' .619 OPS this season with Double-A Portland doesn't exactly jump off the page, but his above-average glove has earned him a spot in Triple-A for the first time in his career. Red Sox's Christian Koss: Traded to Boston
Koss was traded from the Rockies to the Red Sox on Thursday in exchange for left-hander Yoan Aybar. Koss was dominant during his first season in the minors in 2019, slashing .332/.447/.605 with 11 home runs, 51 RBI and 10 stolen bases over 53 games at the Rookie level.
