Red Sox's Christian Koss: Promoted to Triple-A
The Red Sox promoted Koss to Triple-A Worcester on Tuesday, Pete Abraham of The Boston Globe reports.
Koss' .619 OPS this season with Double-A Portland doesn't exactly jump off the page, but his above-average glove has earned him a spot in Triple-A for the first time in his career. As long as his defense holds, Koss should stay put in Worcester, but he has some work to do at the plate before he can be considered for a spot in the majors.

Red Sox's Christian Koss: Traded to Boston
Koss was traded from the Rockies to the Red Sox on Thursday in exchange for left-hander Yoan Aybar.
Koss was dominant during his first season in the minors in 2019, slashing .332/.447/.605 with 11 home runs, 51 RBI and 10 stolen bases over 53 games at the Rookie level. He'll continue his development with a new organization as he attempts to remain effective against higher-level competition.
