    Southisene (wrist) was activated from the 7-day injured list Sept. 15. Southisene picked up a wrist injury at the end of July and wasn't able to return to health before the end of the season. He spent the majority of his time in 2026 at High-A Rome, where he slashed .255/.379/.428 with four home runs, 16 RBI, nine stolen bases and 26 runs in 38 games.

  • Braves' Tate Southisene: Injured in first Double-A game

    Double-A Columbus placed Southisene on the 7-day injured list July 29 with a wrist injury. Gaurav Vedak of Baseball Prospectus reports that Southisene was hit on the hand/wrist area on a pitch in his first game after getting promoted to Double-A on Tuesday. The 19-year-old shortstop slashed .255/.379/.428 with four home runs and nine steals in 38 games at High-A prior to the promotion.

  • Braves' Tate Southisene: Moving up to Double-A

    Atlanta will promote Southisene from High-A Rome to Double-A Columbus on Monday, Geoff Pontes of Baseball America reports. Southisene will take the next step in his professional career, joining Columbus after slashing .255/.379/.428 with four home runs and nine stolen bases in 38 contests with Rome. The 19-year-old is regarded as a plus defender at shortstop and should have a good chance at sticking at the position once he eventually reaches the majors.
