Luke Babbitt contributes in spot start

Pelicans forward Luke Babbitt received the start Saturday against the Heat, with Eric Gordon sidelined by a knee injury.

Babbitt played 28 minutes off the bench and recorded his second double-digit scoring game in a row. He finished with 11 points on 4 of 10 shooting, with three 3-pointers, two rebounds and two assists in a 105-95 win.

Babbitt has been a little-used role player for the Pelicans this season, averaging 5.8 points and 3.0 rebounds per game in 15 appearances.
