Report: Former NBA guard Ben Gordon arrested for ... pulling fire alarms?
The 34-year-old Gordon has not played in the NBA since the 2014-15 season
Ben Gordon hasn't played in the NBA since he was with the Orlando Magic during the 2014-15 season, but he did manage to get back on the court earlier this season in the NBA D-League, when he joined the Texas Legends.
Now Gordon is back in the headlines, but unfortunately it's not for anything basketball related. Apparently, Gordon was arrested in Los Angeles for ... pulling fire alarms? Via USA Today:
Former NBA player Ben Gordon was arrested Thursday morning, according to online jail records.
Gordon, 34, was taken into custody by Los Angeles police at 7:10 a.m. local time and he remained in jail with his bail set at $5,000 as of Thursday afternoon. TMZ reported that Los Angeles police and firefighters responded to Gordon's apartment complex after he allegedly pulled several fire alarms.
An LAPD spokesperson told USA TODAY Sports details were not yet available on the arrest.
Yeah, sure, why not.
I mean, who amongst us doesn't like to spend our Thursday mornings pulling fire alarms?
