What a difference a couple of weeks makes.

Just after the Warriors won their second NBA title in three years, reports surfaced that the team's negotiations with Andre Iguodala were nearly done, and that the 2015 NBA Finals MVP would re-sign with the Warriors. Since then, however, the reports have dramatically changed course, and it appears that the Warriors and their super-sub might be at an impasse.

According to Shams Charania of The Vertical, Iguodala plans to field offers from other teams when free agency officially begins at midnight on July 1, and the Warriors might not be willing to match those offers if it takes them too far into the luxury tax.

Next to their core four -- Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Klay Thompson -- Iguodala has been the most important Warrior for the past three seasons. He leads the bench unit with his athleticism, defense and versatility, and is a crucial component to the Death Lineup that generally finishes games.

Several teams are reportedly interested in signing Iguodala, including the Timberwolves, Spurs, Clippers, 76ers, Magic, Nets and Jazz, and they'll likely be able to offer him more than it sounds like the Warriors are willing to match. Reports have indicated that the Warriors would be willing to pay Iguodala somewhere between $8-12 million per season, while Charania previously reported that Iguodala could fetch as much as $20 million annually from another team.

It's hard to imagine the 33-year-old Iguodala leaving the Warriors in the midst of this unprecedented run, but there's also a chance that he finds the opportunity to change scenery and make significantly more money too appealing to pass up.
