LeVert was assessed with two technical fouls and ejected from Wednesday's game versus the Heat with 1:07 left in the third quarter. Emoni Bates, Craig Porter and Sam Merrill will likely receive increased minutes in his absence.

  • Cavaliers' Caris LeVert: Questionable for Wednesday

LeVert (knee) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Heat. LeVert has missed the past two games for the Cavaliers, but he remains day-to-day. The Cavaliers will be without Donovan Mitchell (hamstring) and Isaac Okoro (knee), so two-way rookie Craig Porter could be in store for an expanded role as the Cavaliers' sixth man if LeVert is unable to play.

  • Cavaliers' Caris LeVert: Questionable for Tuesday

LeVert (knee) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the 76ers, Evan Dammarell of FearTheSword.com reports. LeVert was also questionable ahead of Sunday's game due to left knee soreness before getting ruled out, and a similar situation could happen Tuesday. Donovan Mitchell (hamstring) and Isaac Okoro (knee) remain out, so Dean Wade has been starting, though LeVert would presumably handle extra usage if he's cleared to suit up.

  • Cavaliers' Caris LeVert: Out Sunday

LeVert (knee) will not play Sunday against Denver, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. LeVert will join Donovan Mitchell (hamstring) on the sideline, with Dean Wade sliding into the starting lineup for a second straight game. • Cavaliers' Caris LeVert: Questionable to play Sunday

LeVert (knee) is questionable to play Sunday against Denver. LeVert is dealing with left knee soreness. The 29-year-old has been busy of late, averaging 17.5 points on 15.5 shots per game over Cleveland's last four contests. Donovan Mitchell (hamstring) is out Sunday, so LeVert being inactive would remove serious punch from Cleveland's offense and likely force Darius Garland, Max Strus and Evan Mobley into increased usage.

  • Cavaliers' Caris LeVert: Continues solid sixth-man play

LeVert contributed 17 points (8-17 FG, 1-7 3Pt), eight rebounds, six assists, two steals and one block across 33 minutes during Wednesday's 109-95 win over the Trail Blazers. Though he saw his streak of 20-point performances end at three while Donovan Mitchell picked apart the Trail Blazers, LeVert still saw healthy minutes off the bench as the Cavaliers' sixth man and delivered a strong all-around line. LeVert's usage will take a hit when the Cavaliers get point guard Darius Garland (neck) back in the lineup, but at this point, LeVert needs to be on a roster in most competitive fantasy leagues. His game plays better in points leagues than categories leagues, but even in the latter format, LeVert has still been plenty useful with averages of 18.8 points, 4.7 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 2.0 three-pointers and 1.2 steals in 33.2 minutes per game through his first 10 appearances of 2023-24.

  • Cavaliers' Caris LeVert: Continues producing from bench

LeVert closed with 21 points (7-13 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), three rebounds and one assist over 28 minutes during Monday's 132-120 loss to the Kings. Should LeVert continue in his current role, a Sixth Man of the Year nomination could be in his future. With the starting five performing at a high level, it appears that an injury would be the only avenue to a starting role, but he's doing just fine as the first man off the bench, averaging 19.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.1 steals over nine games.

With most of Cleveland's roster back to full health, LeVert is playing from the bench but still producing. LeVert also played almost all of the fourth quarter, giving him the highest minute count on the team.

  • Cavaliers' Caris LeVert: Drops 29 points off bench

LeVert finished with 29 points (7-14 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 13-16 FT), five rebounds and five assists over 34 minutes during Wednesday's 128-120 loss to Oklahoma City. Although LeVert came off the bench during Wednesday's matchup, he had plenty of success from the floor and topped 20 points for the second time this year despite committing five fouls. The 29-year-old has had a few disappointing performances this year but should have plenty of chances to maintain a sizable role.

Levert recorded 19 points (6-14 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, five assists and one steal over 31 minutes in Wednesday's 95-89 win over the Knicks. Levert sat out of the first game of the home-and-home series with the Knicks on Tuesday with a hamstring strain. He still managed to play 31 minutes despite going back to the bench after a spot start for Donovan Mitchell on Saturday and should continue to see a lot of floor time with Darius Garland (hamstring) sidelined.

  • Cavaliers' Caris LeVert: Suiting up Wednesday

LeVert (hamstring) will play in Wednesday's game against the Knicks, Chris Fedor of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. LeVert was originally tabbed as questionable for the closing leg of the Cavaliers' back-to-back set with hamstring soreness. However, after missing Tuesday's tilt, he's good to go Wednesday. While he'll still come off the bench even with Darius Garland (hamstring) and Jarrett Allen (ankle) sidelined, expect LeVert to see a hefty workload once again.

  • Cavaliers' Caris LeVert: Downgraded to out

LeVert (hamstring) won't play in Tuesday's game versus the Knicks, Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News reports. LeVert has been downgraded from questionable to out Tuesday due to left hamstring soreness. Donovan Mitchell should take on even more of an offensive burden with LeVert and Darius Garland (hamstring) sidelined. Elevated minutes should be available for Max Strus, Dean Wade, Isaac Okoro and Georges Niang.

  • Cavaliers' Caris LeVert: Questionable for Tuesday

LeVert (left hamstring soreness) is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Knicks. The Cavaliers can't seem to catch a break, as Darius Garland has already been ruled out with a hamstring issue and Donovan Mitchell (hamstring) remains questionable. LeVert was moving gingerly after Saturday's game and admitted to being a little sore, but it sounds like he'll see how it responds in warmups.

LeVert closed with 31 points (12-28 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 3-9 FT), five rebounds, eight assists and one steal over 44 minutes during Saturday's 125-113 loss to the Pacers. LeVert got the start Saturday night with Donovan Mitchell (hamstring) ruled out for the second half of a back-to-back set. He took advantage of the opportunity and scored 31 points, the first time he's scored 30-plus in a game since Oct. 28, 2022, when he dropped 41 against the Celtics. LeVert did struggle from the charity stripe and had six of the Cavaliers' nine missed free throws Saturday.

LeVert has scored in double digits in his first two outings of the campaign but should be in line for an even bigger role in this one.

  • Cavaliers' Caris LeVert: Leads bench in scoring

LeVert amassed 17 points (7-16 FG, 3-9 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 31 minutes during Friday's 108-105 loss to the Thunder. LeVert ceded his spot in the starting lineup when the Cavaliers signed Max Strus to a four-year, $63 million contract during free agency, though he has played 31 minutes off the bench in each of the first two games of the 2023-24 campaign. LeVert has led the Cavaliers bench in scoring in both games this season, though he's shooting just 33.3 percent from the floor so far. He'll continue to operate as the first player off the bench for the Cavaliers and would figure to slip into the starting lineup should Darius Garland, Donovan Mitchell or Strus miss time.
