Cavaliers' Caris LeVert: Going through camp
LeVert (knee) was able to practice Tuesday to open training camp.
LeVert aggravated a lingering knee injury during Game 5 against the Celtics to end his season. There's been no mention of his knee at camp, however, so he should be all systems go. During the 2023-24 regular season, LeVert compiled averages of 14.0 points, 5.1 assists, 4.1 rebounds, 1.1 steals and 1.6 three-pointers in 28.8 minutes across 68 appearances.

Cavaliers' Caris LeVert: Won't play Wednesday
LeVert (knee) has been ruled out for Wednesday's Game 5 against the Celtics, Spencer Davies of SI.com reports.
LeVert started in place of Donovan Mitchell (calf) during Monday's Game 4 loss but aggravated a lingering knee injury and will join Mitchell and Jarrett Allen (ribs) on the sidelines Wednesday. Dean Wade will move into the starting lineup, which also features Darius Garland, Isaac Okoro, Max Strus and Evan Mobley. LeVert's season will be over if Cleveland doesn't win Wednesday in Boston.

Cavaliers' Caris LeVert: Questionable for Wednesday
LeVert (knee) is questionable for Wednesday's Game 5 against the Celtics.
LeVert started in place of Donovan Mitchell (calf) on Monday night, posting a respectable stat line across 39 minutes, despite the loss. With the Cavaliers hoping to roar back from a 3-1 deficit, the questionable tag is likely just a precaution as LeVert deals with a lingering knee injury.

Cavaliers' Caris LeVert: Nears 20 points in Game 4 start
LeVert ended with 19 points (9-18 FG, 1-8 3Pt), five rebounds, three assists, one block and two steals across 39 minutes during Monday's 109-102 loss to the Celtics in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
LeVert got the starting nod with the Cavaliers playing without Jarrett Allen (ribs) and Donovan Mitchell (calf), providing a lift offensively while ending one point shy of the 20-point mark in a losing effort. LeVert has been a key player coming off the bench for Cleveland this series, posting 15 or more points in three of the four games against Boston. If Mitchell is able to return for Game 5, look for LeVert to return to the second unit to be a spark off the bench. If Mitchell does miss Game 5, LeVert will be called upon again to step into the starting lineup.

Cavaliers' Caris LeVert: Will start sans Mitchell
LeVert will start Monday's Game 4 against the Celtics, Serena Winters of Bally Sports Cleveland reports.
The Cavaliers, already playing without Jarrett Allen (ribs), also lost Donovan Mitchell (calf) for Game 4, so LeVert will get his first crack in the starting lineup during the postseason. Over the last two games against the Celtics, LeVert has averaged 18.0 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists while shooting 51.7 percent from the field. Across 10 starts during the regular season, LeVert averaged 16.2 points, 7.0 assists, 5.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 34.3 minutes.

Cavaliers' Caris LeVert: Reaches 20 points off bench in win
LeVert ended with 21 points (9-17 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), six rebounds and three assists over 27 minutes in Thursday's 118-94 win over the Celtics in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
LeVert made the most of his time off the bench in Game 2, ending as one of three Cavaliers with 20 or more points while helping Cleveland claim a much-needed victory to even the series against Boston. LeVert didn't connect on a three but still ended tied for second on the team in scoring to go along with a half-dozen rebounds and a trio of assists. LeVert had a bounce-back game after recording just four points in Tuesday's Game 1, playing a big part in Cleveland being able to steal a game on the road as it now returns home to try and take a lead in the series.

Cavaliers' Caris LeVert: Held to three points
LeVert posted three points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt), one rebound, one assist, one block and two steals in 19 minutes during Tuesday's 104-103 win over Orlando in Game 5 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
LeVert is in the midst of a tough series, and although the Cavaliers were missing Jarrett Allen (ribs), the team opted to turn to Isaac Okoro and Marcus Morris rather than LeVert. Through five games, the guard has averaged only 7.2 points, 2.0 assists, 1.8 rebounds and 0.8 three-pointers on 33.3 percent shooting.

Cavaliers' Caris LeVert: Drops dud Saturday
LeVert finished with five points (2-8 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound, three assists and one steal across 26 minutes during Saturday's 112-89 loss to the Magic in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
LeVert's three-point shot failed him in Game 4, and he's now shooting just 23.5 percent from deep during the postseason. He should continue to operate as Cleveland's top bench option, but LeVert has scored in double figures just once through four postseason games after averaging 17.9 points on 54.3 percent shooting across his final seven regular-season appearances.

Cavaliers' Caris LeVert: Solid outing in Game 3 loss
LeVert logged 15 points (5-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-5 FT), two rebounds, three assists and one block over 29 minutes during Thursday's 121-83 loss to the Magic in Game 3 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.
LeVert benefited from the game being a blowout to deliver a decent stat line, and it's worth noting he also logged more than 25 minutes off the bench for the first time in the series. LeVert should remain the Cavaliers' main scoring weapon off the bench, but in that role and given the heavy workload the starters tend to endure regularly, his upside in DFS and playoff slates isn't very high. He's averaging 9.3 points per game while shooting 35.7 percent from the field in the series.

LeVert (knee) won't play against the Hornets on Sunday.
LeVert will be held out due to soreness in his left knee, but the Cavaliers are most likely just resting him in advance of the postseason. The 29-year-old finishes the regular season with averages of 14.0 points, 5.1 assists, 4.1 rebounds, 1.6 three-pointers and 1.1 steals in 28.8 minutes per game over 68 appearances.

Cavaliers' Caris LeVert: Leads bench in scoring Wednesday
LeVert closed Wednesday's 110-98 win over Memphis with 18 points (6-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds, two assists and two steals over 28 minutes.
LeVert retreated to the bench Wednesday with Donovan Mitchell returning from a one-game absence. LeVert still managed to get his looks on offense and extended his streak of double-digit scoring to six games. Over that span, he has averaged 18.2 points on 55.1 percent shooting, 4.8 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.8 steals over 30.7 minutes per game.
